I enjoyed this episode. It was my first one. I subbed btw. Also bud, I noticed that you get distracted a lot and when you have a lot going on, you miss things. I saw that reaver wreckage out there and you glanced over several times saying you wondered what was going on. At first I thought it was one of your ships and then when you went over, I saw it was a wrecked reaver. When I get flustered or thinking of several things at once I do the same. Get distracted then a few later get back on track. I am two weeks old. I am loving it so far. SE has a steep learning curve, but is so damned fun. I bought all of the DLC’s as well. I am running single player now to learn the game. I haven’t seen any Reavers yet though. Just some wolves. I am on an earth like planet and splashed down in the snowy mountains. Anyway, I am gonna watch your episodes from the beginning of this series. I am east coast USA and I think you are Australian? Any way, I love that base, ships and stuff. It all looks great. I have tried the ship method, drop method, yelling and cussing method and the old reliable throwing the mouse method. No matter what I do, it will NOT attach when I hit attach. I had it dead center for all of them and the window on the right still says attach. I just gave up. So I figured out about the original turrets. Built them and took forever to figure out why I couldn’t find the ammo for them. You have to make an assembler because the basic doesn’t make them. They still won’t kill the wolves! I tried the interior turret and still they breathe and attack me. I checked and rechecked the settings and made sure enemy and neutral were both checked. Still no joy. Any ideas?

Seeing an expert produce to a quality I have never achieved is a real privilege, so thank you very much for what you did in this series and the many hundred of hours you put into it. It was a real gift. It seems that UA-cam is taking a backseat for you right now, and I get that. Real life comes first. But I just wanted you to know that your talent is appreciated, and I would love it if this season gets revived. I would love to see you make a refuelling station on that ice asteroid you found. I can only imagine what a spectacular job you would make of it.

I'm a newb SE player that just found your videos and am enjoying this series. Small grid drills on a mining ship seem to drill the blocks right in front of the drill plus one or two blocks around the edges of the drills also as their reach. Question about the welders, how far of a reach do they have? Seeing how close you came to crashing gives me hope, I have crashed so many mining ships it's ridiculous, I keep forgetting about the mass of the ship and how slow it responds and slam into the ground or the side of a mountain or my own refinery. Really enjoying your videos, I saw you have slowed down on new videos, hope all is well with you and yours.

Seriously I wish you would build a drone builder and a repairer drone as long as all the resources are on the base these drones will turn around and do the job for you so you don't have to fly your ships in to do the work as long as you put your framing up the drone will turn around and build it for you
